I don't have cable. Here is your assignment.
At 4:30 today Keanu is going to be on some new MTV show, Movie House, talking about The Matrix Reloaded. If anyone happens to catch it, please let us know in comments how it was. Thanksverymuch.
And here's Keanu's horoscope from FreeWillAstrology.com:
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22): The choice between seeking mere survival and stalking interesting success will be thrust in your face again and again in 2003, Virgo. I'm sure you're already getting a taste of the intensity. Here's my suggestion for what you can do to get yourself in good shape for it: Become very clear about your deep inner definition of success, as opposed to the
superficial, inappropriate, and deceptive definitions that various people have tried to foist on you over the years. Here's your future rallying cry: *Be your own genie in 2003.*
And although I don't usually post mine (I always read it, Breszny rocks) I'm going to this week, because I really want to heed it.
it wahs , media spot , red pill | from inside the mind of krix at December 05, 2002 08:22 AM .
ARIES (March 21-April 19): "Expect the unexpected or you won't find it." That's an epigram formulated by the ancient Greek sage Heraclitus; it's also the name of a book by creativity expert Roger Von Oech; and now it's the centerpiece of your horoscope, Aries. As smart as you are, your steel-trap mind sometimes
closes prematurely. And you can't afford to let that happen now. Open your expectations as wide as they'll go. Be as fresh and innocent as you can stand to be. Make yourself fully available for the novel fun that's brewing at the frontiers of your world.
I'm sure you'll keep us updated as to what's 'brewing'.
Boy I know Keanu will be under a lot of pressure in 2003. But you know, HE DID IT!! The Matrix will ROCK MUCHLY!!
I just saw him on Leno [when he was promoting Hardball]. The interview wasn't as good as previous interviews. Keanu didn't seem all there and the interview was very short. He'd just flow in from Oz and had to fly out again, but he seemed on edge. He wasn't his usually, jovial self.
I'm praying he'll be ok. What am I saying, I know he will be ok...
Posted by: Keanuette on December 5, 2002 10:14 AMI'm sure the jet-lag was kicking him big-time during that Leno interview. He had flown from OZ to Toronto, to NY then to LA for interview & premiere & planning to head back to OZ that night. Personally, I thought he did an excellent job in that interview, especially in light of the obvious fatigue....enjoyed the discussion about cheating on his Harley & the renovations to his NY apartment. But you're right, Keanuette....this interview seemed different than his earlier visits with Leno.
Posted by: Ann on December 5, 2002 10:59 AMKeanu's 'scope rings true again. 2003 is going to be a busy one for him, and I do hope he will take heed, to stop and smell the roses. With three new movies, plus promoting the Matrices, he seems bent on making hay while the sun shines. He's certainly in clover now and doesn't need to worry in that regard. I can't think of any more botanical cliches, so I'll just say I hope the next time we see him he'll be rested and relaxed, and that he feels as fresh as a daisy. Oops.
Posted by: Chianti on December 5, 2002 11:30 AMKeanuette & Ann, you make me SO jealous! You got to see an interview, while I STILL did not manage to get my shaking little hands on a copy of hardball... Can't make a reservation at the video-shop since it's not their 'policy'. Grrr. I wish I could rise into the air like Trinity and battle them Matrix-style. Or follow Chianty's lead and turn myself into a flesh-eating plant... sniff. I'm weeping now :-(
Posted by: Julie on December 5, 2002 12:59 PMThat sux, Julia! You should try and buy a copy of Hardball if you can, it's one of my favorites and a must have. As far as interviews, I think keanuland.com and keanu.org both have some assorted video clips that you can download and watch. The Leno Matrix interview is a very good one.
Posted by: krix on December 5, 2002 02:36 PMA big huge THANKYOU! krix for posting the news about Keanu being on MTV. Since I am cable dreprived, I called my friends and they were able to tape it for me, which caused me to jump around and yell and scream for joy, well atleast try. It made my day, since I was, and am currently, stuck with a sore throat. So I was happy to find something that could cheer me up so well. That sure did the trick. Again, thanx so much!
