So, I was looking around this morning for any Keanu-related news and came across this.
If you want to prove yourself to a real audience -- this campus -- enter our spring "Make Keanu Reeves Laugh" humor writing contest.
However, upon further reading, I am disappointed to discover that that making Keanu Reeves laugh isn't the prize, it's the point.
And it's really not even the point, it's just a clever tag line.
Plus, I assume that the contest is really only for BGSU students.
But I'm going to email a submission of the papparazzi diary (pg-13 version) anyway.
Because I'm kooky like that.
it wahs | from inside the mind of krix at January 14, 2003 11:41 AM .Krix, you rock. I saw this earlier and it ticked me off big time. These people should be in a chem lab or at chess club or something. Will the blasphemy ever end? I'm waffling over whether you should even share your ever-so-eloquent papparazzi diary with these cretons, or just tell them to fuck off. They would probably only understand the latter anyway.
Posted by: Chianti on January 14, 2003 12:16 PMMmm. I think Chianti might have a point. It's the 'personal attacks are allowed' line. Oh well... We can always bomb them with hate-mail if they dare to insult our god :-)
Posted by: Julie on January 14, 2003 01:02 PMFor whatever its worth -- here was my feedback:
"How will know if the articles make him laugh?
Oh I get it. Its not about making him laugh -- its about you taking a cheap shot."
Now, now.
Don't piss off the editor until I hear back about my submission.
Sorry. It WAS a cheap shot though.
Here is a story that might get you to thinking:
On my way to work, drive by MickeyD's to get coffee and yogurt. Big Bus (and I mean BIG bus) parked in parking lot. Name on Bus: SIRIUS satellite radio. First thought when I saw the name: wonder what logo is? (because of the immediate name association don't you know) Logo: DOG with tail pointed straight up in the air with lightening rays coming off it like when you draw a STAR and you want to give it a "shining in the night" effect.
Whadja think?

looks to be a real and unrelated company. They do have a cute little logo on their site, though.
A starry-eyed pooch.
