I had a great time last night.
For the record, there is much more fun to be had at the Imperial Palace lounge than at Cleopatra's Barge. (There's some sort of historical analogy to be made there, but fuck if I'm going to crack an encyclopedia for a joke)
Anyway, there was drinking (which is always fun, more so when you can carry your McCocktail around as you wander the streets) and dancing (which I usually only do as a precursor to mating. I'm as graceful as a grouse) and lots of giggles. It was very cool to meet Cheyenne, who rocks the house with her bad-ass dancing-with-strangers self.
Positively LOVELY to see Suzie again and meet her future husband *ahem*, Tim, who doesn't have a site, but is such a hell of a guy, that he gets linked anyway.
Oh! and Mikey was there too, and for all of you who mock my need to go buy new socks for every social occasion, let me just say: One of the first things Mikey said? "I like your socks."
So there. What a sweetie. I hope he got some action last night.
I hope everyone has fun the rest of the weekend.
I'm going back to bed.

I can't belive we were in the same town....perhaps even in the same hotel for a brief moment....but we didn't see each other! When Alan and I finally got to Ceasar's, Chey told us that you had JUST left.
It's funny because all day, I was wondering why nobody was calling me.....and it wasn't until much later that I realized my phone was only taking messages....it wasn't ringing! Oy! By the time I finally got a hold of Chey, she said everyone was taking a nap, but that you all were getting together later. So I told her we would check in after the concert. Anyway...we met up with them, but you had left...then I finally got you're message and planned to call you in the morning and either do breakfast or lunch.
But then the morning came. It was one of those mornings when you want to crawl under a rock. Ugh! No sleep/too much drink. Ugh. So it was all we could do to crawl to the car and make the long drive home.
I promise promise promise promise that next month when I come back to Vegas.....we WILL meet up!
Sorry I missed you.....but we will have MUCH fun next month!
