The only way you'll get me to a theater to see Willard is to promise me I can sit next to Keanu and re-enact the scene from Action.
It seems my coping mechanisms for both "Crispin Glover" and "RATS" have a bit of an overlap. There's no way I could do both at the same time.
I got the heebie-jeebies just typing out that sentence.
it wahs | from inside the mind of krix at March 10, 2003 02:22 PM .c'mon, krix, you can do it! Willard -- now this i *gotta* see! ;)

What do you think you could do with those new b/w that have been posted over at KeanuWeb?
Posted by: Tyler on March 10, 2003 04:36 PMNothing.
As lovely in effect and composition as they are, they are still papparazzi photos.
Which means what? Aren't there altered paparazzi pics out there? What do they do, make you turn in your Photoshop CD?
Posted by: Tyler on March 10, 2003 04:43 PMIt's my own self-imposed rule, Tyler.
I really prefer not to use them as I'm really not down with people following Keanu (or anyone else in the public eye) into restaurants or down the street just to get a picture to sell.
Admittedly I have broken my own rule in the past on the blog(I believe there is a "candid" or two in the dressage files) but I'm trying to be better about it. And I would never use a papprazi pic in a design.
My loss. I have photoshop and have never taken the time to learn it - you were saving me the trouble. :)
I think he posed for those pics, btw. They are included in a book coming out in Japan.
I am cynical though. I thought the park pics were photo op too.
Posted by: Tyler on March 10, 2003 05:37 PMaw, c'mon... you gotta admit, Glover is perfect for the movie...
Posted by: mikey on March 11, 2003 01:15 AMkrix--be strong, woman. I totally agree. Except, not even Keanu could get me to see Willard. *shudder*
And, by the way--that's really admirable that you try not to use paparazzi pics! I totally respect that. *mwah*
Posted by: skits on March 11, 2003 07:26 AMAnyone who names their kid "Crispin" is just asking for them to play with rats...just like any person who names thier kids "Jeeves" sets their future as a butler.
Posted by: Sage on March 11, 2003 03:42 PMOK, after seeing Crispin Glover on The late Show and on Conan, I have to say, he's not as creepariffic as I remember him at all. He was actually a little sweet.
I still won't see the rat movie, though.
