Virtually consumed by the Frontline interviews (that acknowledge commerce over art as the order of the day). With the number of indie and counterculture films to his credit, really makes me appreciate Ke’s movie decisions and his appeal as an A-list entertainer. (In a Frontline interview, Richard Natale comments, “In the old days, the story was really fascinating. The characters were compelling. We sat and ate our popcorn, we sat on the edge of our seats, we cried, we tore our hair out, we laughed hysterically. We don't do that anymore at movies. It happens less and less. We go to movies to be bombarded.”)
I am extremely glad that Keanu is so into providing plain-old-good entertainment for its enduring emotion-arousing capacity (that includes the Matrix trilogy, even though it's far from your ordinary flick). *smiles*
Now back to enjoying some of your photogenic Ke moments, then finishing my movie. Thanx, krix!
