off topic | from inside the mind of krix at April 08, 2003 02:13 PM .So here's how it went, at the office by 10 am, leave at 11:45 for noon appointment. Get done and back by work around 1:45, clear answering machine, say "fuck this, I'm leaving".
Stop for a frappucino, get home, feed cat, turn on TV, (wow, the Excedrin tabs no-water asprin guy? FOXY) SPIT OUT A CHUNK OF TOOTH, call dentist back, make plans to go back to the dentist at 5 pm.
Bleargh.....

That SAME thing happened to me with my root canal last month! You know why - I think it's the coldness of the popsicle (in your case your frappucino) that I ate immediately following. Why doesn't the dentist tell us not to eat cold things!

Posted by: krix on April 8, 2003 10:27 PMOMG! Jenn & Krix, the SAME thing happened to me too, recently!!! I completely freaked out, as I never had any holes in my teeth or anything before! I thought he had 'overdrilled', but it COULD have been the cold drink, now that I think about it... It was fixed by an emergency dentist, in the middle of the night (I did the *drama-queen* thing to get helped fast) who was quite strange... He started singing a song as he fixed it, trying to 'sooth' me... Total insanity, it reminded me of the "mad dentist" scenes in the movie 'little shop of horrors'!!! Gosh, I hope you are allright!
One good thing though; For you, not being able to go to the concert totally sucked, but now it seems that this will spare you from the humiliation of giving Mr. Reeves your most dazzling smile... Only to find out that he's staring at a horrifying trailer-grin!!! Phew! Take care babe!
