...according to this FOX news article on last night's Tonight show appearance. Not that I care much, she was cute. And hey, supermodels need tequila too.
Here's the part I'm interested in....
Backstage at the Tonight Show -- an unglamorous warren of worn out dressing rooms with mostly broken down furniture -- Gisele and the night's main guest, Keanu Reeves, were attended to by the crack staff. In fact, what the Tonight Show doesn't have in physical amenities is made up for by a group of producers, assistants and pages who couldn't be more helpful or professional. The show runs like a well-trained military effort with no weak links along the chain.
Reeves took the room next to Gisele's, but the two had no contact other than on stage. As much as Gisele's group was a traveling party, Reeves' was the complete opposite -- organized, quiet, and earnest. And no partying. When Keanu came off stage, he asked a couple of strangers hanging around the hallway: "Was that OK?"
He did say, as we made small talk, that he was very happy with The Matrix Reloaded. He also said he had no immediate plans for other films (the third Matrix also comes out in November) other than a romantic comedy now filming with Jack Nicholson and Diane Keaton. "It's a supporting role," he said matter-of-factly.
"Why did you take a supporting role?" I asked, considering that he's about to open in what may be the biggest movie of all time.
"It was a good script," he said, simply.
I just adore him.
"You're on the cover of Time magazine"
"Neo's on the cover of Time magazine"
*swoon*
And speaking of last night, the fight with Seraph....Oh My God......was anyone else bouncing on the bed, clapping and squealing?
I may very well implode next Wednesday night.
media spot | from inside the mind of krix at May 09, 2003 10:36 AM .Thanx for that krix!
I didn't watch the fight scene. I started to, but the picture stalled and I could hear that it sounded awesome and thought I'd wait until I see it on the big screen.
I'll probably wet myself...[but you didn't want to know that LOL]

Posted by: Tyler on May 9, 2003 11:18 AMIt's true.
sigh
I'm especially giddy today as well. I was wondering if he and Gisele will have contact in the future - she was quite cute and funny and admitted to having half a margarita. Did I detect a hint of match-making in Jay's questions? Her horses, partiality to wines... her future plans for kids and chickens...and that she likes food. That's always a plus.
I dont think she's with Leo anymore... Ke should go for it - could be fun for a while if nothing else... Forgive me - I'm always trying to fix him up (in my head.)
Posted by: Chianti on May 9, 2003 12:38 PMHey Chianti, while you're at it, couldn't you fix him up with me? It would be greatly appreciated :-)
We can't get the tonight show over here *grrrrr* but the backstage article was wonderful :-) God, I can't wait till the 16-th!!! The 15-th premiere is 'selected invitees' only here. *2nd grrrr* Can you believe those snobs? The first showing will be business-relations of the theater & D-list Dutch celebrities, while the fans have to wait 24 hours more!!! *3rd grrrr*
That's just WRONG, Julie!
They should let you see it on the *14th*, because I don't know anything about Dutch celebrtiy, but you should be A-list.
In the meantime, to quinch our thirst there are new pics at the becky site - Keanu sweat!
Posted by: Chianti on May 9, 2003 01:04 PMSweet! Thanks, Chianti!
Posted by: krix on May 9, 2003 01:09 PMi'm so happy i was not the only one literally bouncing up and down and squealing with delight at that fight scene. yummy!
Posted by: laura on May 9, 2003 01:47 PMThat fight scene made my night--I also liked tha imni-article too thnx:)
Posted by: stacey717 on May 9, 2003 02:40 PMAw, thanx :-) One good thing; We have the best seats! Yeah! I lmao at my sister who did the reservations... She likes him a lot as well, but is not a *real* fan. But now, I'm starting to infect her (hehe). She called me & said she had 2 bits of good news; First she went on half an hour about the movie, & how great it was that she had managed to snatch the seats that we wanted, (left work early!) and at the end of the conversation she casually mentioned that her best friend just delivered a healty baby-boy! :-D At least she's starting to get her priorities straight LOL!
Posted by: Julie on May 9, 2003 03:11 PMI also thought it was cute when Ke rephrased Jay’s comment to say that "Neo" was on the cover of Time.
I immediately jumped off the couch and cozied up in front of the TV, so I wouldn’t miss anything.
(I’m the same way with championship basketball.)
All that handsome cuteness, charm and nice physique
wrapped up in one delectable package -
soooo very glad I saw Keanu on Leno.
yeah...
:)!
yep, krix, over here there was swooning when keanu corrected Jay about Neo being on the cover. there was also much clapping and squealing during the Seraph scene, especially at the end when Neo said, "You could have just asked." i got my tickets for wednesday night *TODAY* and i cannot wait!!
