Thanks to EVE for taunting me with the fact that she is going to Comic-Con and telling me about THIS at the Con:
5:30–7:00 The Matrix.com: Comics on the Web— The online Matrix comics include work by Larry and Andy Wachowski, Geof Darrow, Bill Sienkiewicz, Neil Gaiman, Ted McKeever, John Van Fleet, Troy Nixey, Peter Bagge, Dave Gibbons, David Lapham, Greg Ruth and Paul Chadwick among others. Learn the future of the Matrix comics, how soon the trade collection will be available, and perhaps get a free Matrix comic. Paul Chadwick (Concrete), John Van Fleet (Batman: The Chalice), and Bill Sienkiewicz (Stray Toasters ) and others join Spencer Lamm (who heads the team behind TheMatrix.com, as well as edits the comics). Room 6B
I think I'd like to go just to give webmaster Spencer Lamm a big kiss on the mouth for the wonderfulness that is whatisthematrix.com.
One other thing, Mikey2 has permission to call me "Krixy", because it makes me swoon (especially if I imagine it in the Stich voice), all the rest of you are guilty of unauthorized pet-naming, and you'll be hearing from my people as soon as I get some.
red pill , tribe | from inside the mind of krix at July 18, 2003 03:49 PM .Am I not authorized to call you "Krixy?"
Posted by: :: jozjozjoz :: on July 18, 2003 03:56 PMIf you want to be an outlaw, you can.
Posted by: krix on July 18, 2003 03:59 PMIs "Great Site Goddess" still OK? That's more of a title than a pet name, ya know...:>
Posted by: T on July 18, 2003 04:42 PMBut I'm hardly a site goddess. I have help.
...just 'krix' is fine,eh?
Naturally, Keanu could call me whatever he wanted.
If he'd only call.

Am I the only one who thought Krix was gonna share the next time she gets laid? Just me? Okay, just checking.

Posted by: justjenn on July 18, 2003 10:38 PMWhups...did I inadvertently cause a "ruckus"?
How about a "hullabaloo"?
Didn't mean to step on any toes. ;)
Posted by: Mikey2 on July 21, 2003 11:59 AMHey, I just got back from Comic Con late last night. What a blast! Anyway, I did manage to make it to the last 40 minutes of this program (I nearly ditched it altogether since I missed so much of it, but decided to go for the chance to get a free Matrix comic and get my Matrix fix... since there wasn't much Matrix content at Comic Con other than a sort of new trailer for Revolutions.) I'm glad I did. Not only did I get a free Matrix comic, but also got Spencer Lamm & Steve Skroce to sign it! Steve Skroce wasn't scheduled to be part of the panel, but joined it because Spencer Lamm is a good friend and got him to go. I wanted to grab a stack of comics (there were only about 75 attendees during the program & a lot of comics available), but I felt guilty enough taking three. I guess I have to learn to get over that guilty feeling!
Posted by: geebie on July 22, 2003 05:07 PMThat fucking ROCKS geebie!
(Oh and by the way, I'm most disappointed that there isn't really a geebie.com!)
Hey all, it really was a great panel and loads of fun. Glad to see the interest in the book and our site, TheMatrix.com.
Geebie, thanks for taking the time to stop by at the convention.
A bit of the new:
