Here are a bunch of codes (found posted over on Warner Brothers' Matrix forum) to get to the hidden content at the official Matrix site. I figured it would be nice to collect them all in one spot for future reference.
These first ones have been around a while and are used at the hackthematrix.com control panel.
Just click around and wait for the input screen to pop up.

Now, to use these binary codes you need enter the hi-bandwidth/flash version of the site. Once the menu/control panel at the top loads, to the far right is a little riveted looking thing with a yellow "light" at the bottom, click that and when it slides out click the green light-up square. Another panel will come down (with a nifty sound effect) and you use that to enter the codes using the switches.

That last one? Access Panel 2? That takes you to the place you put these next hexidecimal codes into. But you have to figure out the binary input to match the hex codes. It's actually fun so I'm not going to explain it to you any further. I trust you will figure it out. If not, there's a cheat chart right there, brainiac.

I doubt this list is complete, but there's certainly a lot to keep busy with. I wish I had a faster computer, I bet the VR stuff is very cool.
OH! And speaking of Matrix stuff, I finally scored a long-sleeved promo shirt that I have been coveting for months, so yay.
Well done!
Has it got a squiddie on it??
If so, I got that one.
You've been a busy bee haven't you.
Posted by: Jen on September 8, 2003 03:54 PMNo, it's just the regular black and green one with the small logo on the back.
Which I imagine you have also.
very cool on teh shirt and thanks for all the codes. that musta taken awhile to type up. :D
Posted by: kat on September 8, 2003 04:41 PMOh hell no.
Viva la copy/paste.
Will there be a picture so that we at home may see the long-sleeved promo shirt you have been coveting for months ?
Posted by: Zen on September 8, 2003 06:10 PMHaha, it's this one here.
I paid my Canadian taxes on this one as well.
Posted by: krix on September 8, 2003 07:08 PMReally cool! I want one! Who would have thought there was a long-sleeved Matrix promo shirt in Manitoba? Was it lost?
P.S. Damn those Canadian taxes! But we must pay for universal health care somehow.
Posted by: Zen on September 9, 2003 04:47 AMYeah, I got that one too...LOL
I'd like the proper crew stuff like on the matrix site. That would be cool.
Posted by: Jen on September 10, 2003 10:45 AMhey, about those hex codes---i found another one:
0AC01BFA
this code takes you to panel 3. there are 128 bits that you have to get in the right order to proceed. how do you do it?
Posted by: sam on November 7, 2003 02:40 PMhow do you crack the 128-bit encryption?
Posted by: bob on November 7, 2003 06:57 PMHad a question as well...found the 128 bit encryption page also and have no idea how to possibly crack it. This may sound ridiculous but if you hit the enter button without trying any codes at first, it randomly shuffles the numbers and letters in the codes coming up with variations on it's own. Do you think it would be possible to just keep clicking away until, possibly, the correct codes would come up, or am I just being an idiot? Also, the new update on the official site leaves us with this:
Path/ViaRevolutions/ThirdSlot/top/EmbeddedDVD/0x(31)+0-F/ZionArchives
Looks like a web address but leads to nowhere. Anybody know what's up with this new lead? I'm fiending to see what's on the other side. If anyone can help a brotha out it would be greatly appreciated!
Posted by: DRYP ONE on November 8, 2003 12:56 PMthe path just shows you were to find the 128-bit encryption (3rd slot is were the 0ac01bfa code is displayed). i'm sure you could click the button to find the code, but it would probably take years before it lined up all 128 positions. i cant figure out how to hack it because i thought hex codes were six digits (red, green, and blue)???

Posted by: mike on November 9, 2003 12:16 PMhow did you find that?
Posted by: sam on November 9, 2003 02:48 PMProbably just deconstructed the flash page. . .
Posted by: Trainman on November 9, 2003 04:12 PMThe 128 bit code your looking for is embedded on the Reloaded dVD
this code then gets u into the Zion Archive.
enjoy..
Posted by: Alex on November 9, 2003 07:47 PMwhat do you mean it's embedded in the DVD? how could I find it on the DVD?
Posted by: sam on November 9, 2003 08:25 PMyeah how do you figure this out.
Posted by: raul on November 9, 2003 08:30 PMbetter type that properly.
one wrong click and a click of the "enter" button messes the whole thing up.
Yo dudes.
We should try to place our Reloaded DVDs into our DVD Computer drivers.
We might find something there, because, inside the movie, there's nothing.

He is the 128 bit encrytion broken down....
Posted by: 318 on November 10, 2003 05:27 PMOnce cracking the 128-bit encryption, how then, do you unlock the features (at the bottom of the right-most menu of the pop-up window) that say "Beyond Zion"?
Posted by: Kevin on November 10, 2003 10:42 PMon the last section where you input the last digit or letter, you can input anything because every code gives you access to one of the zion archives.
Posted by: eeleye on November 11, 2003 04:43 AMsorry. i was wrong. :-(
Posted by: eeleye on November 11, 2003 04:45 AMNo dude, you're right !
Using this code:
0011 0001 1001 0101 1010 0011 1111 0110
3 1 9 5 A 3 F 6
1110 0111 0010 1011 0101 0100 0011 1100
E 7 2 B 5 4 3 C
0110 1001 0111 0111 1101 1010 0001 0110
6 9 7 7 D A 1 6
1110 0111 1000 1001 0101 1011 0011 1110
E 7 8 9 5 B 3 E
If we change the last binary string to any another number or letter, we get access to an especific page.
They aren't the same, each final letter or number takes us to a diferent image or quicktime shit.
You were right !
: )
Atention: This works only for that access code.
I think that's all dudes !

would you please give me information?
nathan_yue@yahoo.com.hk
Isn't decompiling the flash like cheating? Where's the fun in that?
Posted by: dharmagrrl on November 11, 2003 01:13 PMfirst congrats on the shirt, you are the "shirt goddess!!!"
and second, dear god, I am so not equiped to hack. you guys inspire me!!
Guys,
if you decompile the Flash and take a look at the actionscript anyone of you will be able to see that the GAME is inside the actionscript.
The Wack Bros. wanted us to play the game by hacking it.
They are the ones who created the phrase "Hack the matrix".
That's all about it dudes.
Nathan, don't worry, i'll show you the door, and i'll show it for anyone who wants it.

Posted by: webmistress on November 13, 2003 05:18 PMThe codes work so far. Hey, about that other route shown on the News section of The Matrix site, has anyone been able to find out where it leads?. Also, there are 2 paths(routes) in that section, apart from a couple of hidden codes around...Has anybody else seen them?
Dude, i don't know if the codes you are talking about is this "Path/ViaRevolutions/ThirdSlot/top/EmbeddedDVD/0x(31)+0-F/ZionArchives".
But, if it is, i'm gonna explain it to you.
Split this string by its "/" and you'll have a tip. Look.
Path - Its says we have a path :P
ViaRevolutions - Via the Revolutions Menu
ThirdSlot/Top - Third Slot of the Revolutions Menu at the Top
EmbeddedDVD - This means you'll find something inside the DVD
0x(31)+0-F - Wich is an Hexadecimal number with 31 bins and the last bin goes from 0-F
ZionArchives - That will lead us to the Zion Archives.
Understood ?
All these things that were said were said to help us get to this code:
0011 0001 1001 0101 1010 0011 1111 0110
3 1 9 5 A 3 F 6
1110 0111 0010 1011 0101 0100 0011 1100
E 7 2 B 5 4 3 C
0110 1001 0111 0111 1101 1010 0001 0110
6 9 7 7 D A 1 6
1110 0111 1000 1001 0101 1011 0011 1110
E 7 8 9 5 B 3 E
If i could not help you, this will help another.
Im sending all the e-mails to those who wanted to know how to crack the SWF files.
If anyone needs help, i'm still alive.

Posted by: h1j4ck3r on December 8, 2003 11:38 AMEntering 0110 1001 0110 1001 0110 1001 0110 1001 0110 1001 into Access Panel 2 (69696969) reveals a screensaver called Matrix Code.sea (for Mac and windows). ?id any body know this? I have used the screensaver yet, but it could reveal more clues. If it is anything more let me know. What is fascinating about this discovery is that I think my unconscious mind found this. Both the 69 and 10 have sexual connotations.
ALSO...
In breaking news (December 2003) you are challenged to find out what brand of cigarettes the Oracle smokes. You will look to a VR image of the Oracle's apartment. You will go to the kitchen and find the cigarettes on the table, you will find a phone number on the package "for more information".
It is 0011 5510.
I assume this is a hex number to be decoded and entered into the Access Panel 2, but it was not. So, is it a hex number to be coded entered on Access Panel 1?
I refuse to believe that this number on the cigarettes is
not an encrypted key.
I have one other thing to add and that is that the "locked" entries on the bonus flash presentation arrived at by Access Panel 3 may be decoded by using a combination of Japanese language and one or more computer languages... You will notice that the letters for these locked entries appear to be Japanese letters.
Does anyone want to take this ball and run with it?
By the way. our work here may be greatly helped if we read The Code Book" If we run into barriers here, we might need to look to this book for answers. It talks about codes used
from Ancient Roman times through WWII all the way to modern computer encryption. Have you read this book?
Love and respect,
Quirky
would you please give me information again?
it should be

is the matrix real?does anyone share that belief with me?i feel it is real and i want out and that if there is a way then please e-mail me...i firmly believe.anyone that isnt into the belief that somthing isnt right here with the world then i am truly sorry for you..i am looking for a way out and to wake up.only serious inquiries e-mail me thank you.....
