Keanuette tells all about last night's Roxy gig!
Augh! He shaved! And I missed his baby face!!!!!!
becky | from inside the mind of krix at April 27, 2004 12:21 PM .I loved the part about being out of range to catch the Keanu DNA. I'm still laughing about that part! Great job Nettie! :)
Posted by: Lisa on April 27, 2004 12:50 PMIf it weren't for all these places,
I'd feel so lost and all alone right here in the middle of nowhere,
in the most densely populated country in the whole European Union!
The sweaty Keanu sounds delicious...
...still wondering tho when the cd will come out!
Posted by: Niobe on April 27, 2004 01:34 PMHm. I'd like some DNA, but I prefer sweat still warm and from bodily contact, not cold and splattering as it flies through the air. Call me picky...
Posted by: Smit too on April 27, 2004 02:47 PMI'd...uh...prefer to get his DNA the old-fashioned way, if ya know what I mean?
*runs away blushing* I can't believe I wrote that...
Great concert description! Yay for the baby face...
Posted by: bakednudel on April 27, 2004 03:06 PMNudel, did I miss anything?
When has that way of getting DNA gone out of fashion?
Hey Krixy, sorry that this is off topic, but have you ever gotten any of my e-mails? I want to ask you something via e-mail, but I'm not even sure any of the ones I've sent in the past have gone through. :/ You know my addy, lemme know.
Posted by: Mikey2 on April 27, 2004 03:49 PMI've emailed you, Mikey.[/off-topic]
If anyone has ever had their house/family blessed by an Orthodox priest at a Krsna Slava, you'll know what it feels like to get spritzed in the face with holy water. I suppose you could compare getting Reeves' (or any performer you admire) porejuice flung at you at a show to that. Sort of a blessing/baptism. I personally haven't had the...erm.....honor.
The guy from Mother Tongue accidentally spit in my mouth while pronouncing a particularly powerful "P" though. How punk rock is that?
Posted by: krix on April 27, 2004 03:54 PMYeah, I liked the DNA reference too. Although i would like to create some dna of Keanu rather than getting some in my face, but that will probably be the closest i will ever get to his DNA
Posted by: Allison on April 27, 2004 06:03 PMthanx, krix, for sharing keanuette's review. I was there, and her take on things was so right on!
Posted by: phoenix IX on April 27, 2004 07:51 PMNettie most certainly captured the moment! Too bad she missed out on the DNA, but she DID manage to catch a glimpse of 'the abdomen' in person! *sigh* That was probably worth the airfare alone. Ooooh ... next time, next time!
Posted by: sta-cie on April 27, 2004 08:48 PMIf I saw the "abdomen" in person, I would just have to burst into a recitation of Krix' Ode to a Belly Scar - still my favorite ode to Keanu.

Sorry, I didn't use the audblog properly [duh!]. I promise to do better next time.
It's a real shame coz I phoned up straight after the Keanuencounter. My heart was racing so fast. I was slightly delirious.
Posted by: Keanuette on April 28, 2004 11:38 AMawwwww!@keanuette
So sweet! I guess even after multiple encounters you never get used to it...
Posted by: bakednudel on April 28, 2004 01:20 PM(DEEEEEP SIGH) Everyone except me gets to meet Keanu. :(
