MovieHole.com has a lukewarm Constantine screener review - snark and spoiler warnings apply.
For what I understand the guy does not know too much about Constantine... isnīt John very unlikeable? So, Keanu nailed it. But will be always VERY difficult to some guys to admit Keanu is great in the role. Itīs what he wants to say, but he canīt! ;P
Anyway, I found that review more positive than negative, because itīs the way I see John, just pissed at everything.

They have turned out to be correct.
This is why I would never agree to write a review of anything. Reviewers seem to tend toward being bitter people with very dull axes and no grinding stone. This includes Mrs. Parker, whom I worship, though not as much as I once did.
I think this is why I only discuss movies I like with others. I just don't need to cultivate that mindset. A simple "I didn't care much for it" suffices.
Then again, I found Ishtar amusing. What do I know?
Posted by: V. on November 15, 2004 01:47 PMHow the heck did they get to see that screening. They NEED ME there!! I could be a PILLAR of objectivity........well, maybe not so far......but I could be!

Yes...there is the "pillar of objectivity," and then there is blinding people with the "flash" of the "flesh" (lightbulb not included)
