Krix watches The Matrix Revisited
Part 9

[The Academy Awards]

Joel didn't go to the ceremony, Guess he "been there, done that" with Die Hard or something. Die Hard didn't win anything, though.
Keanu went. He sure looked foxy in his tux. It's nice that he went to support the film, even though he has never been nominated. I hope he gets an Oscar, someday. I imagine he does, too, although it's really not as important as just doing work you enjoy. Right?? Whatever..Zach talks about winning. Dane says the whole thing was very Matrix-like. The glitz and glamour onstage, none of it seems real, and then you get backstage with its wires and gaffers tape. It's like moving from The Matrix to the real world. The whole thing was almost too much, he says. Geof Darrow praises Bill and Owen. Joel talks a bit about other awards the movie won.

"Keanu says that if The Matrix was quite an
undertaking, these films will be a
SUPER
undertaking. So, does that mean he has to be
SUPER
SUPERPERFECT?"

[The Matrix 2 & 3]

I think that if you're a big enough fan to sit through
Revisited this far, you probably already know about the sequels and how they are being shot together, but Joel tells us that fact, just in case. Zach corrects me on the thought that these are sequels, and says actually, the brothers always envisioned this as a trilogy. Good thing that first one worked out so well for you then, huh? He says we'll be able to watch all three movies together and the thought of that makes a muscle in my upper lip twitch for some reason. MMmmmMMmm 6 hours of The Matrix…*Homer drool* Bill Pope says the levels are going to increase exponentially. Keanu says that if The Matrix was quite an undertaking, these films will be a SUPER undertaking. So does that mean he has to be SUPER SUPERPERFECT? SUPERPERFECT to the Nth degree? I'd better get my calculator and get back to you with those figures. Geof Darrow Talks about the secrecy and security of filming now. Yep, everybody's watching for Matrix 2&3 spoilers. In fact I bet that some of you ended up at this recap after googling for that very thing…huh? HUH? Don't lie! You know who you are. Well, stop it. Just stop it right now, or you'll ruin the surprise. I bet you shook your Christmas presents, too.

Joel calls the movies "Groundbreaking". J-Gae, in his sporty non-beard says it's going to be completely over the top, because the technology is at that level now. Even the oil painting behind him is impressed. Geof says even more stuff to build up our expectations of these movies.

Keanu likes it. Kym Barrett has input and opinion even though she's just the costume designer. I told you her job was cool. Laurence is anxious to see what the real world looks like. WB guy (damn, I know I should know his name…sorry) gives me a homework assignment. Hegel, Kant, Descartes. Judeo-Christian traditions…Wow, I don't know if I, as a paltry moviegoer, even deserve to see these films at this point.

Maybe if I take up Tai Chi or something, I'll be ready by Summer 2011 or whenever it is they will finally come out.
Carrie-Ann starts to say something very cool about the rarity of your work and your beliefs coinciding, but she finishes it off with "The Matrix has so many principles that I…I  um , you know..DIG…" OY! Carrie-Ann! You don't fumble around like that and come up with the word "dig".  I had so hoped we could be friends, too. Oh well, I still think, you're…um…you know…groovy.

Keanu again, talking about kicks. He's taunting me with his eyebrow. He must know how I love it. He looks happy, saying that last time they wanted three kicks, and he gave them four. This time they want five, and his eyes glitter and he says, "so I don't know what we're gonna do".

The final shot of Revisited is of Larry and Andrew saying "We'll let you know… To. Be. Continued." Larry says "The end?" as a question and emphasizes it by drawing a question mark in the air. Cute.
The Credits roll for the main part of Revisited, but there are still extras, even on the VHS. I might get around to recapping the extras someday, but I think this is a good place to wrap up, for now.
