Keanu.ru, the Keanu Reeves - Russian Edition fansite has been added to the links.
It takes a little clicking around to find your way if you're like me and the only russian you know is Stolichnaya.
spoony , tribe | from inside the mind of krix at October 07, 2003 04:17 PM .Oh! That pic is gorgous!!!! :-)
I can't help you much with the Russian translations, since it's written in Cyrilic words, and I only know how some words are pronounced phonetically. :-(
FI: 'Privet' is hello, and 'Goei" is penis. I've never used those words in a combined sentence, though ;-) For the rest, I mostly know curses...
And I don't think a site with such beautiful pictures has *those* on it :-)
I think 'hello' 'penis' and 'vodka' would pretty much cover my needs, actually.
At least for the first week or so.
Posted by: krix on October 7, 2003 04:53 PMHahaha! :-D
& in case you *do* ever get to spend a few weeks there, don't forget; 'Da' is 'yes' and 'Njet' is 'no'.
Not that you will be using the last one after the 'privet-goei-vodka' combination ;-)
That picture! I don't think I've ever seen one like it...young and serious...red...argh...mind..going...
Really, doesn't everyone thank God every day that we have Keanu to look at?
Posted by: bakednudel on October 7, 2003 06:57 PMOh, Krix...how you do make me giggle! I hope you're feeling much better now. The "penis" statement DOES seem to be in true Krix form. Welcome back, girl! :)
Posted by: r.j.girl on October 7, 2003 07:18 PMHeh, thanks r.j., I am doing better. I think that maybe Julie and I should someday take our act on the road.
And Nudel, we should be thanking someone. I have a friend that walked up and thanked his mum once.
Posted by: krix on October 7, 2003 07:24 PMIf you're using IE, you can put your cursor over a hot spot, and the link address comes up on the status bar at the bottom in English. Not perfect, but it helps tell the guestbook from the updates.

Regards,

I want tickets to the krix and Julie show!!!! :o))) Front row, please!
nudel, glad you found the pic! THAT's the one. Yum!
Posted by: Zen on October 8, 2003 06:26 AMHey, Hey, Hey! I am fluent in Russian, so all your words are correct exept for one - penis!!! It's pronounced "Khooy", girls!!! Just in case you ever come across the situation where you need to use that word.
But yes, the picture is simply hipnotizing. I don't belive Keanu ever went to Russia, I wonder how these Russians got it?
Posted by: lusenkea on October 8, 2003 12:36 PM:-D, Lusenkea, I know that! :-)
But English is not my native language, and 'Goei' is pronounced as 'khooy' in Dutch :-)
I later thought that I should have written it down as 'gooey', but that is a bit of an odd combination in the 'penis'-department ;-)
And oh! Krix, I'm all for the 'road'-thing :-D
Especially since we will certainly become 'celebrities' then, and you know what *that* means, right?...
KRIX for governor!!!!! :-) Julie as 'running mate'! *Yes* We will be able to pass down laws... Just because 'we feel like it'
We'll be able to appoint key-players, simply because 'they amuse us'
We can have dinners with Keanu under the disguise of 'communicating with *the people*'!
And the best part is that we'll be involved in all sorts of sex-scandals, since this seems to be the thing to *do* when entering politics ;-)
I already have a slogan;
Does your state need a fix? Vote for Krix! :-)
Terrific idea!! And her first act would be to declare a state holiday of Keanu Day on September 2nd on which we all thank God/s/ess for this blessing! There could be a 24-hour keanufest of all his films...music by Dogstar and Becky...fine wines for all..and Shakespeare in the park!! whoo-ha! krix, you have *my* vote!
