maybe I'll actually get cable this summer

Thanks to Ann for calling this to my attention and to Chianti for posting over at Club-K:

According to an ad in the New York Times, Keanu will be a guest on Inside The Actors Studio. The taping is scheduled for May 10th. A TV airdate will be confirmed at a later date.

Wow..I'd never think that he'd be asked to go on the show but now that he will be on it'll be awesome... The host can ask some really great and trivially styled questions; it should be a wonderfully entertaining watch!!

Krix you have got to get cable for this! A whole hour long discussion with just Keanu! A whole hour to watch him being his adorable animated self! OH, I don't think I can wait til summer for this! :-)

If I had cable, I'd never get anything done. I watch WAY too much TV anyway. I'll probably just go to Roi's place or have him tape it for me.

stacey717, I thought the same thing. I would watch the show and think "Gosh, Keanu would be so great to see in this format!" but NEVER imagined it to actually happen. He is so maligned by just about everyone, regarding his acting ability, that I didn't think the "acting community" would allow him the invitation. I'm so glad to see it happen! He will *completely* charm everyone there.

Yeah, hopefully he'll be open to the host and not start off cold as sometimes people in general can in interviews; I'm sure this'll be a great interview! (A while ago I watched one with the cast of Will & Grace and it was hilarious! I can't wait for this one in May:D)

Don't get cable just for this, krix..*sniff* My schtoopid cable company (that's TIME WARNER, idiots) does not have Bravo, either on regular or digital cable. Can you believe it? Nope, we get the Golf Channel. We get the Soaps channel. We probably get the 24-hour barbecue channel.

At least I have some months to try to figure out how to get this taped by a responsible party who will actually tape it. Don't know if I can trust my brothers on this one!

The really weird thing is, *yesterday* I was talking to a friend who had seen Charlize Theron on ITAS (on tv) while visiting New York last weekend and we both thought that they'd never invite Keanu. Ha! I say again, Ha!

This is almost too cosmic and exciting for words.

I know that getting cable for 1 show is a little silly (ok, a lot silly!), but wouldn't it be cool if they could hook you up for one show, kinda like a pay per view type thing! I guess I'd better start my own cable company for that sort of thing. LOL

I'm just glad that Keanu is getting this opportunity. He is very deserving of it! :)
